I’m ready for spring in a bad way. The closest thing we have in Va to spring are these smoothies, it seems. This tropical smoothie will take you right to the warmest beach you can think of. It’s full of smooth mango, tart kiwi and refreshing orange flavors. The banana adds a wonderful creamy texture that brings everything together.
Ava and I downed these smoothies Saturday afternoon as we talked about the books we are reading. She’s getting to the age where she loves to read and can actually discuss what she is reading about. I’m so, so, so excited! It’s so fun to see how her little mind interrupts things and just absorbs it all. Right now she is reading Magic Tree House Books and I’m currently reading The Language of Flowers.
Back to the smoothie…it’s creamy, refreshing and very tropical. You should really try it. It will blast those winter blues away, if only for a few minutes.
