Spiced Apple Cider Cookies

Fall is coming to an end.  The bitter cold weather is slowly moving in.  One of my favorite things about fall is warm apple cider.  As we were spending our Thanksgiving sipping on cups of apple cider, I thought ‘How wonderful would it be to have this in cookie form?’  The following day I whipped up a batch of these.  I nearly fainted when they came out of the oven.  They tasted amazing.  Everything I imagined.

These pillow-y soft fall cookies are reaping with spice and sweetness.   Perfect for afternoon tea time.  If you love apple cider as much as I do, I know you will fall head over heels for these little beauties.

Spiced Apple Cider Cookies

{ingredients}

1 box Spiced cake mix

1 egg

¾ C butter, melted

4 T apple cider

1/3 C granulated sugar

½ tsp cinnamon

{directions}

Preheat oven to 350*.

Combine cake mix, egg, melted butter and apple cider.

In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar.

Dough maybe a little wet (but not too sticky to handle) so quickly form one tablespoon balls of dough and roll in sugar mixture.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Repeat with remaining dough.

Bake for 12-13 minutes.

*if your dough is too sticky place in freezer for 10 minutes.

    These sound interesting. I’ll have to add them to my “to make” list. I also love apple cider. So delicious.
