These snicker doodle cookies are one of my very favorite cookies.  They are so easy to make and taste so irresistibly delicious. 

These  little lovies are my entry in the Dixie Crystals Bake it Forward contest.  I think they might just be a hit. They definitely already are in my home. 

Snicker Doodle Cookies

{ingredients}

1 pouch sugar cookie mix

1 egg

½ C butter

½ C flour

½ tsp cream of tarter

1 pinch salt

{filling}

2 T butter

½ C Dixie Crystals sugar

2 T cinnamon

{directions}

Preheat oven 350*

Mix cookie mix, egg, butter, ¼ C flour, cream of tarter and salt.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes

In small bowl mix sugar, cinnamon

Sprinkle remaining flour on counter and roll dough out and brush with butter

Sprinkle with sugar mixture

Roll up jelly roll style.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes

Cut into dough and lay slices flat on ungreased baking sheet

Bake for 10-12 minutes

Let cool and serve.
