Review: Green Vibrance

Yesterday I was full of confidence……I was going to run a marathon in September and I was going to consume Green Vibrance for breakfast today and everyday after that!!!  :)

gv-group

So this morning I woke up all stoked I was going to have so much energy after drinking this bad boy: Green Vibrance.  hahahahahhahahahahahahah…………….I seriously thought I could down it if I just pinch my nose and go for it.  :) NO NO NO!!  One sip and it just barely hit the back of my throat and I ran to the sink I thought I was going to lose it! This stuff ……it doesn’t really taste that bad it just makes you gag and want to throw-up your insides!!!!  Its horrid!! :cringe: I don’t think I could make myself do that ever again…good thing I only invested in the single packet!! lol

Maybe I will try the real food green monster smoothies everyone’s been having.  ;)

I’m off to frolic in the SUN at the farmers market today! :) I hope you all have a sunny day!!

Gah, that sounds awful! Thank goodness you only bought a single packet!!!

Bleh. Just the thought makes me ill. hehe. Those packets of stuff are NEVER what you think they will be or what you want them to be even. I’m also glad you only bought one packet. :)

It sounds like the “Blue Green Algae” that was popular 10 + years ago…it made me soooo sick…..some of these things are not what they claim..

Eek! Sorry it tasted so badly!
You should try out my First Timer Green Monster smoothie on my recipes page…its delicious!!

Yuck that sounds terrible! I will stick to my smoothies with spinach in them at least they taste delicious!

Oh yuck, sorry you had a bad experience. I can whole-heartedly say that a whole-food green smoothie will not make you gag! Start out with one handful of baby spinach and work your way up to more and kale and collards from there.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I recently tried a smoothie with spinach and it turned out great. I’ll hopefully be trying a Green Monster soon…..;)

You could drink disgusting vegetable green stuff or… you could have a Rock*. Mmmm so yummy and the calories make it even better lol jk

The green vibrance does look to be quite hmmmm over exageratted in its benefits. I know i don’t get energy from eating leaves. Ohh and what marathon were you talking about?

omg sounds exactly like my experience, i bought one single packet just to try it – i was really excited about doing something good for myself, but I simply couldnt stand the taste!!! i was so sick, as green as the vibrance itself :D

I just bought a jar of green vibrance. Put a tablespoon of it in the blender with 1 banana, 1 orange, two stalks of celery, a handfull of spinach, and ice. I think it tastes really good. Now I just hope I will feel results :)

I mix into a smoothie as a meal substitute. I often have it right before running because the body absorbs it for energy so quickly. Use a handfull of bananas (which counteract the taste), a handful of ice, and a big scoop of protein powder with two scoops of Green Vibrance. I also add in some Spirulina powder. Yum.
