Coconut Honey Almond Butter

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup shredded dried coconut
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional*


  1. In a food processor place almonds.
  2. Process until smooth. This may take awhile - I used a mini Kitchen Aide food processor and it took 20-25 minutes. Be patient and there is a quick turning point where it goes from smooth to runny. After 15 minutes check it every few minutes scraping down the side.
  3. After you reach the desired consistency pour in honey and coconut.
  4. Pulse a few times to combine.
  5. Pour butter into an airtight container.
  6. *My almonds were slightly salted so I did not add any salt.
