Pumpkin Spice Latte petitfoodie

I this version of my pumpkin spice latte because it is perfect for first thing in the morning or afternoon pick me up.  It is not overly rich or too sweet.  It is light, creamy and has the perfect amount of fall spice.

Most recipe call for real pumpkin puree to be added.  I find this leaves an odd taste and I  despise the residue it leaves in the bottom of my cups.  This recipe omits that and add maple syrup for slight sweetness and pumpkin spice seasoning for that good fall flavor we all love.

The recipe calls for 1 to 2 tablespoons of maple syrup.  I prefer less sweetness but I know lots of people like their drinks extra sweet.  So you do you on the sweetness level.

I used a frother.  But if you don’t have this you can just simmer the milk mixture on the stove and whisk it up.  You won’t achieve the same amount of froth but it  will be just as tasty!
