May Favorites

May seemed to fly by!  I really can’t believe we are half way through 2017!  So crazy it’s June!  May is one of my favorite months and I usually always plan a trip to the strawberry patch with Ava.  I can’t believe we didn’t make it there this month.  I’m hoping we get there in the next few weeks.  We did make it to the beach for a few days for a little R&R…..swoon!

Here are some things I loved this month.  Most of them eats! My favorite kind of favorites!

Mitica Quicos Corn Nuts- If you are  within driving distance of Whole Foods I highly suggest getting in your car now and going to get these!! They are so beyond delicious.  So much in fact, Ava and I have to get our own containers because we fight over just one.

Cherry Pitter – This handy kitchen tool is one of my favorites this time of year.  I have always loved fresh cherries but having to cut the pits out is so tedious and annoying.  This cherry pitter works so amazing well!  It easily gets the pit out and with no juice splatter everywhere!

Whole Foods Premade Veggies- When shopping at Whole Foods I always want to by all the colorful veggie packs they have already prepped.  But I thought how silly and expensive.  I finally could not resist – I purchased one of their premade slaw packages with cabbage, kale, green onions, red pepper.  There was so much in this container – definitely affordable once you open the package and see how much it really contains!  It was so fresh and I love the combination.  I also got some premade guac – Seriously to die for!  They have smaller containers that are the perfect after shopping snack!

La Roche Posay Toleriane – I decided to switch up my usual skin care routine.  I have been using this moisturizer and cleanser all month and have been loving it.  It’s perfect for the warmer months because it is light and refreshing.  I love that it doesn’t have any odor as well.  If you are into simple products this one is perfect.  The moisturizer really works too – I have combination skin and have not had any dry patches using this.

Always Sarah Jio-  Recently on vacation I read this book and could not put it done.  It was the perfect summer read.  Light but has a good story line.  I always love Sarah Jio books.  Also Bungalow is another great one by her!

Grilled Bread with Avocado Bruchetta – Get ready for Summer with one of my favorites!

Gluten Free Heirloom Tomato BLTS– For you GF babes this is the perfect summer eats!

Sparkling Strawberry Sangria – Don’t for get the sips!
