The Dry Pea and Lentil contest – it’s that time of year again? I can’t wait to see what you come up with for the recipes! I think a handy kitchen tool is the immersion blender. Especially if you make a lot of hot soups/canning jams. It’s too dangerous to transfer this stuff to the blender or food processor.
mine would be the rice cooker. it is so versatile. it can cook oatmeal, rice, quinoa, all other grains, and steam! and also slow cook too

My favorite kitchen tool is my antique Wagner cast iron skillet. My grandmother handed it down to my mother, and my mother down to me. I use it frequently and I am always sure to care for it, just like my grandmother taught me.

My favorite kitchen tool. It’s hard to say – I love kitchen gadgets and have 3 drawers full of them. Small – garlic press, large – Kitchenaid stand mixer.
