Halloween Mix

Happy Halloween!  Are you dressing up as anything fun this year?  Are you secretly excited to dig through your child’s Halloween stash when they leave for school tomorrow?

If you are like me you can’t stand for leftover Halloween candy to stay around too long.  This year I came up with a quick fix to use up that Halloween candy, with this fun Halloween trail mix of sorts.  It’s full of texture and has a variety of delicious sweet and savory bites.

If  you are antsy to get rid of the candy you can make a batch of this and portion it off into baggies for co-workers, neighbors, teachers or family.  If you are not too worried about the candy staying in the house for a while, I love the idea of storing it away until Thanksgiving parties come around and making a big batch of this for everyone to munch on.   It’s festive and such a great snack.
