Gluten Free Spooky Crinkle Cookies

We made it to Friday and it’s almost Halloween! Let’s celebrate with the these moist chocolate-y crinkle cookies.

They might be spooky but they are delicious!  You won’t believe they are gluten free too.  I used to make these chocolate cake cookies by Paula Deen every year.  They were a huge it with the family and did not stick around for long.  When I went gluten free I missed having them this time of year.

I wanted to recreate them but not lose any of the gooey cake like texture.   These spooky chocolate crinkle cookies definitely live up to the old version.  I added some sprinkles and candy eyes for a bit of fun.

These would be the perfect after school treat for the kiddos or a  fun sweet treat at your Halloween party.   Share with a neighbor or keep all to yourself.  Regardless they will be fully enjoyed.

Have  a great weekend!
