Sometimes planning for a children’s party can get a little stressful. It’s always hard to know what other children will eat and have fun with. There are two things you can never go wrong with, popcorn and candy. They love both. All of them.
These popcorn cones were well worth the small frustration of making. The actual cones are not hard to make but it takes some coordination and a smidge of patients. Apparently, I have neither.
Take a minute (or 5) and make these adorable popcorn cones for your next get-together.
Your guests will love them.
Popcorn Cones
{supplies}
6 pieces of scrapbook paper
1 glue stick
Patterned scissors
1 bag popcorn
{directions}
Cut the borders of your scrapping paper so they have a fun edge.
Get your glue stick ready. Starting at a corner roll up the paper.
After one complete roll put glue on the inside of the paper. Continue rolling.
This can be a little tricky. Make sure the whole at the bottom stays closed or relatively small. Also make sure the top opening remains large.
Let dry for a few hours.
In microwave pop popcorn, according to package directions.
Once done let cool completely.
When the party is about to start place popcorn in cones. Enjoy.

I really like the size of these popcorn cones. The ones I’ve seen are always short and stubby. I like the “tallness” of these ones and that scrap paper is so fun and summery and light. Good idea!
