Looking for to save a few dollars?  Check out this homemade chocolate chip frappe.  A Starbucks knock-off that my child adores.  Ava loves the Starbucks chocolate chip frappes – my wallet, not so much!

I decided to recreate one of our favorite drinks.  Knowing I could save calories and money made it even sweeter.

The recipe below has a few options.  I have tried this with both coffee and espresso.  Knowing not everyone has an espresso option I wanted to create it with coffee as well to make sure the taste was unchanged.  While the espresso, obviously has a stronger coffee taste the strong coffee makes for an equally delish frappe.

I used almond joy creamer because it’s  a household favorite but I think a chocolate mocha would be good too.  Treat your wallet and loved ones to this fancy delicious knock-off.
