Weekend TidBits
This weekend I tried a new Greek yogurt that I absolutely love! Dannon Greek Yogurt!! I was so suprised this tasted so wonderful. The texture and taste are perfect! Its creamy and has a woderful subtle tangy taste. I highly suggest giving it a try. The only gripe I have is that it is just as expensive as Onkios, which is organic. But Dannon provides a great alternative when organic is not available.
Greek yogurt with fresh berries and homemade granola = pure heaven
Ava rediscovered her love for Pink grapefruit this weekend!! yayayyaya!!
We love pink grapefruit!! It suprises people that she will eat foods that most childern will shun. I credit this to introducing these foods to her at a very young age! If you keep putting new foods in front of them and repeat. repeat repeat. they will eventually eat it.

Also, on the agenda this weekend was making some wonderful trail mix! This is a quick and simple snack to throw together and have it in your purse or at your desk. It’s super healthy and will hold you over for hours!
Delectable Trail Mix
1/3 Cup nuts of your choice (my faves, walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds and cashews)
1/3 cup Dried fruit (cranberries, apricots (mmmm), raisins)
1/4 cup dried coconut (unsweetened)
1/4 cup dark choc. chips
Throw into a container. Give a little shake to mix. Happy Snacking!
Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start.

The granola looks tasty. I’ve also been trying some other Greek yogurts: Yoplait and Brown Cow. I have yet to open the Yoplait, but the Brown Cow is really delicious and similar to Fage. I will have to keep an eye out for the Dannon one. Although, I find the “other” brand yogurts are not all that much cheaper than Chobani or Fage. (We get those on sale often down here, though.)
