One of my favorite ways to use lentils is in soup!  They add such a creamy, hearty texture. 
This soup  just radiates with  flavor.   The combination of the lentils and butternut squash is to die for.  I think it’s their textures that really turn me on.

This Indian dish is one of my favorites.  I love how its super spicy from the curry powder and then suddenly you get a burst of sweetness from the pineapple.  It is quite devine.  I love serving this dal over brown rice to make a hearty meal.
